Fleet Chimney Sweep Hampshire

If you haven't had your chimney swept before you may have some questions. We have detailed the questions we are often asked, but please contact us should you require any further information.

How long does it take to sweep my chimney?

It usually takes 30-45 minutes to sweep your chimney. However, if it is blocked this may take up to 1 hour.

How often should I get my chimney swept?

We would recommend that your chimney is swept annually for normal use. For heavily used chimneys we would suggest twice a season.

How is my chimney swept?

The area in front of the hearth is protected by clean dustsheets. All sweeping equipment is placed onto the dustsheets. The flue is also sealed off using a sootcloth. The chimney is cleaned using vacuum and brushes. The dustsheets protect the soot from coming into the room. When the sweeping is complete, all soot is cleaned from the hearth and your room is left clean and tidy. Cream carpets and furniture are not a problem.

Do I get a discount if I have more than one chimney cleaned at the same time?

Yes. A discount of 5 is offered on each additional chimney swept at the same time in the same property.

How long has Gerrard been a chimney sweep?

Gerrard has been a fully trained chimney sweep, operating in the Fleet area since 2008.
